  • LETTER TO SELF - A Reminder to Why I Blog

Dear Khristyne, Remember when you and your siblings went to go see an angel channeler back in June 2015? Funny how that experience in your life opened up a whole new world for you. It literally sparked a heightened curiosity in you that you've yet to discovered. You didn't know there was such a thing as "angel channeler," nor did you know that angels really existed, nor anything about the Universe & the infinite being that you truly are. Yet, when you look back prior to June 2015, you've always had this knowing that you were into the soul and the feelings of soul. There was this feeling of soul, this feeling of light you've caught a glimpse of before, you just didn't realize it at the time. But you knew this familiar feeling felt like home to you. No wonder you named your first business, "Gold Soul." Let me take a moment to say how proud I am of you. The moment you bought your first angel book, your first angel card deck, crystals, pendulum, to heavily doing research on all that you can about this new world you've ignited within you. Your light had finally awakened within you. Words cannot express how proud I am of you for your dedication in wanting to learn on a deeper level. Whatta slumber you were in, but you did it. You're still doing it! You've awoken and I can see the seeds of light you've imparted to many just by being you. I am so proud of your evolution. Look how much you've inspired others just by working on yourself, healing those hidden wounds, and following your truth. Keep it up gourrrl! Back to the experience of the angel channeler. She told you that she see's you starting a blog. A year from that, you started your blog. Now, that's #manifestationboo You didn't even realize you have started your blog until months after you've began. It's even crazier because you've had plenty of thoughts of starting your own blog even before you met the angel channeler. Do you see how those little divine nudges are actually ideas from the divine? Subtly encouraging you to start a blog. One of the why's that you started this blog was to inspire. You share all that you know through the experiences you've gone through and overcame. To shine the light onto a dark path that others didn't know they can do, too. You are a living example of what humanity can be like. You are loving. You are strong. You are vibrant. You are radiant. You are resilient. You fell, but you've always brought yourself back up. You ripped, you tore, you broke into a million shattered pieces, yet you managed to tend yourself back and magically heal what you thought couldn't ever mend. You put yourself together and evolved stronger than you were before. You see... it's through those major contrasts in your life that evolve you and bring a deeper appreciation of your light. Forget how much views you receive in your blog. The people that really need to hear your message will naturally gravitate to your blog. Let the Universe handle that. You just focus on what your soul wants to express. You are worthy of sharing your experience. A lot of the things that you share is also a reminder of where you came from. It is a reminder of the lessons you've learned along your journey. It is a reminder that if you fall into your funky/dark moments, you will always prevail and shine your light no matter what. Your true nature is luminous. You are gifted. You are still uncovering that within you. But no rush though. All is in divine order. Just like how everything in your life has unraveled to be. It's all in divine order and all in divine timing. And I am reminding you that you are exactly where you need to be. The Universe got you. You got you. You just gotta trust in you. Love you. And remember, You started this blog because you are here: 1. To inspire 2. To share 3. To express 4. To remind you of all that you've learned along the way. PS: Here's a happy, luminous photo of you surrounded by what you love. Nature. Know what sparks the light in you. then use that light to illuminate the world. ----- Follow me on Instagram @ducky143 Follow me and Anthony's Youtube channel PassionLivingLA With love and light, Khristyne #lettertoself #dearself #whyiblog #whydoiblog #spiritualjourney

Oh, the great out doors! Nature's such a gift. Nothing beats the healing properties of what nature has to give. All you need to do is lay back and receive. • Skincare Ritual using All-Natural Products - The Ultimate GAME CHANGER

Skin care products are completely saturated all over the market. Unfortunately, everything you see on TV or on Instagram can possibly be harmful. What I didn't know before is that so many products are toxic and filled with chemicals like parabens or sulfate.* Raises my hand* I admit that I've used toxic products unknowingly for so many years. Up until 24 years old. I used to shop at Target or Walmart to purchase my skincare products in complete oblivion. It wasn't until back in 2015 when I met Tai from PurplGoat that I've learned SO much about these harmful products on the market. I remember Anthony telling me how much his acne-proned face changed so much after switching to natural cleansers aka PurpLGoat's Activated Charcoal Soap and Lavender & Goat Milk soap. Tai is super knowledgeable. Especially in the skincare realm as she, herself, has been through trials & error of what ingredients were and were not effective for her. She created these magical products that has worked for her and decided to share it to the Universe. She's literally helped so many people in their skincare journey. And I'm thankful that I was a part of the positive impact she has made in thousands of people. I've never had a problem with acne from ages 12-24 years old. In the summer of 2015, I began to breakout with ADULT ACNE. WTF? I could not comprehend why all of a sudden these little pink thingys started popping up on my face. Wasn't I supposed to to get them in my teenage years? Did I just hit puberty? These were some thoughts that would arise every time I'd have a acne breakout. I admit that I definitely had a lot of self-esteem issues surface up for me. This past March 2018, a huge energetic shift had took place for me. A beautiful shift within that words cannot describe. With this internal shift came an external shift for me, too. My face has gotten super clear. It is now June 2018 and my face has been consistently clear for me. I AM SO GRATEFUL, which is why I feel inspired to share to you my skincare routine. Here are my 5 daily skincare rituals I do every night: 1. unMASK Calm - I nourish my face with Tai's amazing face mask a minimum of 3x out of the week. These ingredients exfoliate and calm my face. It also helps keep my face smooth and soft. Best believe this is my primary (all-natural) treatment to help calm my face down from any breakouts. The affirmation that comes with this mask is: Calmness and peace surround me everywhere I go 2, Cleanzyme Oil - This is my all-time favorite! This is Tai's newest product that she recently launched. I've always heard of oil facial cleansing but never really got around to learn more about it. This cleanser does not strip out the natural oils of the face. I love how it feels when I start massaging my face knowing that it's removing all the dirt and debris while hydrating my face. It's also super cool because it has these fruit enzymes in them that are very beneficial and exfoliating for the face. My face has been super receptive to this product! I haven't seen my face at its most optimal state until I've incorporated this to my everyday regimen. So I am super grateful that this product was birthed into existence. The affirmation that comes with this mask is: Every aspect of my life is flourishing 3. Eye Cream - I use Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream from 100percentpure. This is a vegan beauty company that uses only all-natural ingredients. This eye cream uses ingredients that help increase the circulation so that your eyes are brighter. I honestly feel like my dark circles have gotten so much more lighter and less noticeable. 4. Jojoba Oil - All I know is that this is super nourishing for the face. Some basic benefits is that it moisturizes your face while balancing the oils on your face and prevents irritation. I know that its good for people that have acne and eczema. It also has anti-aging properties! I get mine from Amazon. Tai also created a special formula that has jojoba oil as well as other amazing ingredients that really takes your skin to a whole other level! It's called her Calm Complexion Serum. 5. Crystal Facial Roller - You may have heard about the jade facial roller. The rose quartz facial roller works just the same! The only difference is that the crystal is rose quartz and the healing properties include amplifying the energies of self-love (and all aspects of love like romantic/platonic relationships, family, social life, etc). I really love this because you reap both the benefits spiritually and physically. Physical Benefits: - Anti-aging properties - Improves blood circulation - Promotes lymphatic drainage - Reduces puffiness & lines - Helps remove toxins while brightening complexion It's cool to reflect back to see how all the experiences unraveled in my life. When I began my spiritual journey in 2015, the Universe had led me to so many people, articles, books, workshops, you name it, to teach me all I needed to know to progress in my personal development on Earth. Proper skincare was definitely one of the things that I've shifted from toxic to healthy. These are all external products that aid in my skincare routine. I truly do believe that there are internal factors that also play a huge role with the health of your skin. So please do keep in mind that if your natural skincare products aren't working as well, there's a high possibility that there's something going on within you that's keeping your physical slate from having the skin you desire. Please also keep in my mind that my skin routine is something that I found has worked well for me. Everyone's skin has their own unique way of responding to products. I'm super grateful that my face has been receptive to these natural products I've mentioned above. No more of that toxic shit that stores sell. All these products have been a major game changer in my life. I hope this blog post has inspired you to be conscious of what you are applying to your skin. After all, the skin is the largest organ in the body. • 6 Natural Remedies - Curing your cold without using traditional medicine

My perspective in curing colds has taken a complete 360 degree turn for the better! Ever since I've been on the path of personal development and becoming more aware, I've learned that all the old, conventional methods I've used in the past were harmful for my body. It's actually mind-blowing to discover this because these medicines were introduced to me ever since I was a kid. And let tell you that I was that child that always gotten sick. ( I can see why that happened spiritually lol) OTC medicines were all my mom knew. It's all good though because I've unveiled so much and shifted my choices to what is in alignment to who I am now. I am talking about how damaging most OTC medicines are for the liver while temporarily putting a bandaid to the ailment and leaving your body at an expense long-term. My soul was like NAH AH honey. So after experiencing a cold and doing my research in healthy ways I can cure this cold. I have found 7 Natural Remedies to cure my cold without using OTC medicine: 1. Immune Booster Tincture - I use the herbal defense from Herbally Grounded. I was subscribed to Goddess Provisions and was introduced to this tincture. It's blended with herbs that help boost your immune system and has other benefits such as increasing white blood cell activity and antibody protection. It's safe to use on both adults and children. There are other immune boosters that you can find at your local health store or Amazon. 2. Immunity Tea - My go-to tea brand is Yogi Immune Support tea. You can get them from Amazon or your local grocery store like Sprouts. I go HAM once I've detected that a cold is coming or has begun, I dose up with so much tea along with so much water. The goal for me is to take in the herbs that will improve on my immune system while peeing so much so that I can flush out all that gunk internally. 3. Probiotic Capsules - Though there are foods that have probiotic, I typically just take the capsules. They promote a happy, healthy gut 4. Goji Berry Capsules - They have powerful antioxidants and helps boost your immune system. These berries are also packed with so much health benefits like alleviating stress & anxiety, relieves insomnia, maintain blood pressures, fights cancer, promotes healthy skin, detoxifies the liver and more! 5. Alkaline Water - And I mean, O.D. on the water to the point that you have to pee every 15-30 minutes. This will help flush out all the toxins inside. It also has other amazing benefits such as detoxifies & oxygenates your body, alkalizes your body, supports immune system (BENEFICIAL ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU'RE SICK), energizes your body, and more. 6. Ginger/Turmeric Shots - Both ginger and turmeric are major immune boosters. Together, they are the dynamic duo to dissolve any colds. They are both packed with so much other health benefits. Let me let you know a few so you can be inspired to consider taking this as a daily holy grail. - Ginger - helps with nausea, clears sinuses, purifies blood, soothes tired muscles - Turmeric - detoxifies liver, antioxidant properties, wound healing properties, boosts energy - BOTH - Fights cancer, aids in weightloss, anti-inflammatory properties, relieves migrains, immune booster, improves digestion 7. Burn Sage - Not only does it cleanse your space from negative and lower energies, it cleanses the bacteria in the air. Double the reward! 8. Detox Foot Pads - My first time trying this was last week when I caught the cold. I kid you not, the night I applied these on my feet, I woke up feeling so much better than I had felt before! It drew out so much toxins that when I took the pads off, they were completely black. Gross... but so freaking cool! These are some of the natural remedies that I've researched to be good for alleviating colds the natural way. It has helped me and can possibly help you, too! • Conscious Travel Guide - Necessities to Pack for your Southeast Asia Trip

As a conscious being, I feel led to share to you travel essentials for you to consider when traveling Southeast Asia. Traveling is a key part of my lifestyle. It's something that I love. And when something feeds me deeply, I do more of it. Which is why I've made the conscious choice to incorporate traveling into my lifestyle as much as possible. I've traveled to plenty of states in America as well as over a handful of countries. However, it was from my 2-week travels to Thailand back in 2015, where I deliberately packed one luggage shared with my boyfriend as a result to travel light. This trip taught me to filter what items were necessary to bring and what items could be left behind. It can get overwhelming attempting to figure out what to bring on your travels. And I get it. I was on that same boat, too! Especially coming from a fashionista who thought I needed 20 million different outfits for a 14-day trip, lol! I recently traveled to Southeast Asia. I traveled to Ho Chi Minh City & Nha Trang in Vietnam, Canggu & Ubud in Bali, and Palawan, Philippines. I am sharing to you a travel packing list from clothing, toiletries, health, tech & spiritual tools/self-love items: Spiritual/Self-Love - Palo Santo: It is super duper ideal to bring this spiritual tool to smudge. Physically cleansing yourself is important, but don't forget to energetically cleanse yourself, too! One of the primary reasons I bring this when traveling is to cleanse the place that I'm staying at. I'm sure there's been many people before me that has stayed in the same bed. So it is IDEAL for me to bring this energy cleaning tool clear the space I'm going to stay in as well as after a day of exploring. You can get a crystal infused palo santo bundle here. Another option would be sage or a smudge spray. You can get one here. - Crystals: Never underestimate the healing properties of your crystals. I brought 3 crystals that I felt needed to accompany me in my one-month journey. - Journal: The power of journaling from pen to paper is a sacred thing for me. It is where I express and acknowledge my inner being. It is also where I jot down my flashes of divine inspiration. My journal also serves as my sacred place to get really clear with myself and setting those intentions while traveling abroad. - Book: My journey to expansion does not stop. Even if I'm out of the country. Engaging in a book is not only a great investment to your self, but it also helps the time pass when you are on the plane. It is also great when you're laying out at the beach. Health - Essential oils: There are so many healing & soothing properties. - DIY bug spray: There are so many mosquitoes in Asia! They somehow find a way to bite me even when I protect myself with a homemade bug spray. Some people don't attract mosquito bites, so who knows, you may be one of the lucky few. This leads me to... - Thieves essential oil: My friend Richelle was the one that introduced me to this. I had a massive mosquito bite that got swollen and infected. Once I dabbed this, the size minimized immensely! Definitely suggest this essential oil if you are prone to getting bug bites. - Hand Sanitizer - It's super important to spray the germs away. Do yourself a favor and maintain a cleanliness for yourself. This will help prevent you from getting sick. My sister & I create crystal infused hand sanitizer. You can get one here. :) - Chap stick - I cannot imagine traveling with chapped/dry ass lips! My goodness! SMH lol. - Herbal Tea - Not only is tea very calming and soothing, it contains a blend of amazing herbs to keep your immune system optimal and in good health. There are many herbals teas for many things. I like Immune Support & Disgestive Health by Yogi. You can get it from Amazon or in Sprouts/Whole Foods. -**Probiotic Capsules** - I'm adding the asterisk (*) sign twice because I truly believe this is important! Especially because I've gotten food poisoning in 2 different countries. One of the countries I was hospitalized for almost a week. Trust me, it's not a great feeling. Probiotic helps balance the good bacteria in your digestive system and can help prevent any harmful bacterias that may enter your system. It also strengthens your immune system. And you're going to want to have optimal health when traveling internationally! You can get some on Amazon here. - Goji Berry Capsules - There are so many health benefits to these capsules! Here are some reasons why you definitely should bring this superfood with you when you travel: 1. Boosts your immunity system 2. Increases your energy levels & performance 3. Detoxifies the liver 4. Reduces stress 5. Fights inflammations And tons of other health benefits! You can get some on Amazon here. Tech - Phone charger: This is a no-brainer. - Portable charger: I like to take pictures and document my travels with my iPhone. Not only that, my phone helps me find places to eat, places to visit, and how to get there. This means battery life will be taken from your iPhone and keeping your iPhone battery replenished is IDEAL AF. YOU MAY ALSO LIKE: 8 Must-Have Apps for a Smooth Traveling Experience - Plug converter: Although most Asia countries have the same outlet as Amurrica, places like Bali, have a different kind of outlet. I suggest investing in one for your travel journeys. It costs about $10 on Amazon here. - Camera: Big shout out to my boyfriend for being in charge of the camera! lol. We bring the camera so that we can have more footage + it takes high-quality photos and videos for our vlog. - MacBook: As a conscious entrepreneur, it is important for me to have MacBook/internet access. I also get inspired to blog when I travel, so that's another reason why I bring my MacBook. It's totally up to you if you want to bring yours. It's definitely a personal preference. Toiletries - Toothpaste - Toothbrush - Body lotion - Face moisturizer: I use carrot seed oil which is very beneficial for your face & skin. I also use it as a sunscreen to protect my face from getting sunburnt. - Face/Body Soap: It's an all natural soap made by my friend Tai! I love it not only because it's nurturing for my face, but also my entire body too! One bar of soap lasted both me and Anthony for about 3 weeks. You can get one here. - Pads/tampons: Just in case your menstrual cycle takes place during your travels Clothing - 3-4 outfits - 1 pair of pajamas - 2 pairs of bikinis - 5 pairs of panties - 5 pairs of socks - 2 pairs of shoes: I wear one at the airport. By the end of my trip, I donate 1 pair to a children's shelter - 1 pair of sandals: Or you can purchase some therefor super cheap - 1 sweater: It get super cold in the plane & airports. I wear it on flight day. - 1 pair of pants: I wear it on flight day. There are so many laundry services in Asia. One of the easiest ways to get your laundry serviced is asking the Hostel you are staying at. Sometimes they have laundry machines for you to wash your clothes or they offer the service to have someone clean your laundry. It's fairly cheap. I hope this packing list can give you an idea on how to pack for your Southeast Asia travels! I definitely recommend traveling light. Travel light. Live light. Spread the light. • 10 Nighttime Rituals for a Relaxed & Recharged Night

... And happy spirit! Whether it's making manifestation moves or brainstorming my next project during the day, I always feel the need to be in a state of complete zen after it all. We typically go through the day with all kinds of energies around us that we forget about cleansing our energetic bodies and just hit the sack. Even if you are at home surfing through Instagram, I still consider that as tapping into energy fields. Even strenuously using your mental to finish up your 10-page paper in your room, by yourself, that requires a lot of mental energy--- definitely a indication for some self-love, unwinding before bed. Traditional nightly routines often consist of washing your face, brushing your teeth, maybe shower, then sleep. While these routines are important to our physical bodies, the most forgotten and not commonly talked about is taking care of our energetic body or energy field or soul or spirit... ... Or for the sake of the new-age skeptics, taking care of YOURSELF. Your entire existence that includes both your physical and infinite self. This is what I like to call: physical, emotional, spiritual, and energetic maintenance or spiritual maintenance. This helps keep me balanced and in the flow with the beautiful miracles that are in my path. I want to be ready with open arms by being receptive to all good things that are on its way to me. Like a magnet... pulling to me all that is in alignment to my higher purpose. And in order for me to be in this element, BALANCE IS KEY AF. "Balance is not something you find. It's something you create" These are a few essential rituals that I typically do every night. I dedicate 1-2 hours before I get to bed. Here are 10 nightly rituals I do to have a more balanced and peaceful me: 1. Shower with Bath Salts It's going to be a 6-9 hour unconscious ride. I like to freshen up my body and shower with bath salts. Bath salts are great for drawing out toxins, cleansing your aura and removing negative energies. So not only do we cleanse our bodies, but we are also cleansing our energy fields simultaneously! Feeling fresh is definitely a relaxing factor in my night time rituals. 2. Tidy the Room I can't emphasize this enough. Our environment is important. This means de-cluttering your space. We are a reflection of our external world. So don't mind me when I get into my random clean-up mode. It is actually very meditative for me and keeps me in a clear space. 3. Dry Bathe QUICK FACT: I am a second level (inactive) Reiki practitioner. Dry bathing is a technique used to cleanse ourselves from any low vibrational energy. So I was taught that not only is it important to cleanse ourselves physically but to cleanse ourselves energetically, too! We are basically like antennas that can easily pick up and absorb other peoples energies. There is a certain technique you can do to dry bathe. You can learn it on YouTube here. It is completely vital to cleanse any negative energies we may have picked up in our energy fields. I can definitely feel the difference when I do it. I follow this with my next ritual... 4. Smudge Yo`self My fave tools to smudge with: Palo Santo + Sage. These two are my favorite energy cleansing tools. They are both sacred tools that you ignite like an incense and blow it out while its smoke lingers a therapeutic scent. They both have therapeutic properties that not only puts you in a peaceful and zen-like state, but also cleanses out negative or lower energies that may have absorbed or attach on to your energy field. My sister and I create palo santo bundles infused with crystal clear quartz. You can get it here. If you're allergic to smoke, there are also smudge sprays. My sister and I also create crystal infused smudge sprays, as well. It's our most popular item on Etsy. :) 5. Aroma Therapy Burn Incense This is a must-do ritual for me. It definitely sets the mood for a complete zen environment. Just how I like it. Aroma therapy is great for putting you into a relaxed mood. It also uplifts your spirit. And incenses help provide that for me. I would much rather be lighting up an incense than to diffuse toxic, chemically infused products in my room. Diffuser Having a diffuser is such a great self-love investment. I purchased mine from OfferUp for $20. You can also find them on Amazon, too. There's so many benefits through the large selection of essential oils that you use. What I absolutely love about essential oils is the multitude of benefits it includes. Oh, the joy of stimulating my senses while reaping the benefits of different essential oils! 7. Slather my Face My face is super sensitive. I've never had an issue with acne until I turned 24 years old. I've never suffered with acne during my teenage years and all of a sudden, for some strange reason, I started getting adult acne. Around the time I started sprouting pimples, my boyfriend introduced me to Tai, who is now one of my lovely friends on Earth. She owns PurplGoat, which is an all natural, non-toxic skin-care brand. I wash my face with Goat Milk & Lavender Soap first. Then, I slather my face with unMask (Calm). Self-love at its finest! 8. Medicate-then-Meditate I medicate in a cannabis kind of way. We are all different in how our bodies respond to cannabis. But I see it as a healing plant for me. Indica's are my cup of tea. It's my choice of strain all day, everyday, which always puts me in a least-resistant state. Being in this state where the indica helps me quiet the mind, unwind, and relax my body. 9. Time for reflection - Journal It's gratitude time! Once I've reached my relaxed mode, it is usually the time for me to express my gratitude in my journal. This is an act of self-love and creating a space of high vibrational energy in your field. This also helps with steering clear of your truth and who you really are. 10. Scent the Pillows Bruuhh... I am instantly in dreamland once that dash of Eucalyptus essential oil hits the pillow. There definitely has to be something about the properties it contains that stimulate the sleeping senses. I purchased myself a large selection of essential oils to learn and apply to my life. I created body butters, compiled combos to put into my diffuser, facial toners, and more! They're all super beneficial to your health. These are the rituals that I love to do every night that sets me up to have a relaxed slumber into an inspired and productive day. If you've noticed, many of my rituals include cleansing any negative energies. IT'S SUPER F*CKING KEY TO BE AWARE OF YOUR ENERGY LEVELS. I can't emphasize enough to keep a happy and cleansed energy field filled with positivity. Please note that I don't do this in the order its been written in. Another note, my definition of productive could be different from yours. I make sure I fit in things that I love to do like, journaling! Plus, it is good for your emotional health. Fall in love with taking care of yourself mind, body, spirit. And remember, self-love is not selfish! The most powerful relationship you will ever have is the relationship with yourself ----- Follow me on Instagram @ducky143 With love and light, Khristyne #silkrobe #silkyrobe #nighttimerituals #nightrituals #rituals #dailyrituals #energeticcleansing

  • 6 Spiritual Ways to Nourish your Soul in Bali

Maybe you've heard word around the street that Bali is a place for self-discovery and transformation. Let me be one of the millions of people to attest to that. If you've watched Eat, Pray, Love, then I'm sure you can catch a glimpse of the common thread that best describes Bali. Of course, we are all unique infinite beings that experience every moment in our own realities that's different for all of us. Yet, that common thread of uncovering peace within talked about by many people must mean there's something special in Bali. I f*cking love Bali. There's this special energy about Bali that has brought my soul replenishment and a deeper understanding about the truth within me and within all of us. I can say that there was a lot of transformation and evolving during my journey in Bali. I really believe in taking time to do what makes your soul happy. Do more of what makes you happy. Everyday the Balinese people devote a morning and night ritual offering where they bless shrines honoring their Gods whether its in their home, work, business, random parts of the streets and jungles. EVERYWHERE. This positive energy is circulated on a daily basis! No wonder there's such a powerful energy out here that pulls people to live here and do their self-discovery journey in Bali. Here are 6 ways I nourished my spirit in Bali: 1. MASSAGE (Me to the left ; Bae to the right) This is the ultimate self-care gift for your body! We were getting massages a few times a week. We went to this amazing spa in Ubud called Synergy Spa. We really made an effort to get our bodies nourished. It has so many health benefits for your body and spirit. It helps get rid of knots in your body, which knots are a sign of stuck emotions. Once that is released, life force energy will be able to flow through and you'll be more aligned with your higher self. Release those toxins in your body and get yourself a few massages! It's super good for your health of your physical body and energetic body. Cost: 1-hour Balinese massage: 75k IDR, $5.50 USD. + tip = 100 IDR, $7.41. 1-hour Balinese Massage + 1-hour facial: 200k IDR, $14.78 USD, + tip = 250k IDR, $18.48 USD 2. YOGA PASS I do this as an act of self-love. I practice Kundalini yoga to nourish my spirit. As we eat food to nourish our bodies, feeding the soul (your spirit) is just as important. We went to Ubud Yoga Center. The location was tucked on the side of a mountain covered with green lush jungles that had views of a river bed below. The vibes were the perfect place to practice. One of the reasons I went here was because they had the best class rates and offered a number of kundalini classes. We purchased the 5-class pack. Cost: 5-class pack: 475 IDR, $35 USD, which is $7/class. In the Los Angeles & Orange County, California area, it would cost on average about $15-$25/class. MAJOR DIFFERENCE, right? $7/class in Ubud, don't mind if I do! 3. ENERGY HEALING WORK We need to bring more awareness about our spirit and energy in the Universe! Seriously though... there would be a huge positive shift for all of humanity if we all brought more attention to these dynamics. I went to Sami the Healer in Canggu, Bali. Every healer has their own unique way of healing. Sami's method of healing consisted of body work + spirit work. Him and his partner massage certain parts of the body and find blockages. It hurts so much when they unravel the blockage. And I was okay with that. I knew that the result after going through the pain was going to be beauty. After all, there's beauty in pain. And when you get through it, you feel so good! At the end of the body work, he goes over with you everything. Thank you Sami for blessing us with your healing energy! Cost: 750k IDR, $55.44 USD, + tip, 800k IDR, $59.14 USD 4. VISIT A TEMPLE Temples are an easy way to feel sacred, spiritual energy. Being in the presence of a temple has high vibrational energy. We had a 2.5 hour adventure from Ubud heading east to Pura Lempuyang to visit the Gates of Heaven. We rode up a mountain. It is the most highly regarded temple and said to be the most holiest temple in Bali. As you arrive to the gates, you are welcomed and blessed to purify and cleanse your presence. The energy was so beautiful and special. Highly recommend going. It's worth it. The energy was so beautiful and special. Surrounding yourself in all its sacredness made it all worthwhile. Cost: You are going to have to rent a sarong for 10,000 IDR, $0.74 USD + give a small donation.Sarong rental: 10k IDR, $0.74 USD, + Donation 10k IDR, $0.74 USD 5. NATURE VISITS Nature has an innate way of healing the spirit. So why not wander the soul to high vibrational jungles with trees filled with wisdom. Let spirit take its stroll in bliss. Some of the places I visited were the beaches like - Dana Blue Point in Uluwatu - The rice fields in Ubud - Waterfalls - Renting a moped to take you through the country side visiting a temple. Extra spirit-nourishment! You can also visit a waterfall 6. SOUND HEALING Pyramids of Chi This place is a dream! There are two giant pyramid buildings where each lie a mini auditorium with laying down mats. In the middle lie gongs, crystal bowls, drums, and other healing instruments. A woman named Dee was the one that gave us our sound healing. She has a voice of a motherly angel that also sang during the sound healing work. The way she works is connecting with the divine and allowing source to guide her with the healing instruments to use. It was powerful. It was just what my soul needed. Cost: $25 USD Ubud Yoga Center They offered a group sound healing class on Wednesdays blessed by Devi Ma, who is also a Reiki Master, Intuitive Healer, with a voice of a white bright angel. She does some serious healing of cleansing the chakras and activating high vibrational energy within us by channeling in the angels, spirit guides, and ascended masters during the sound healing. I highly recommend this class! Your soul will thank you so much for nurturing it with sound healing. Cost: One-class 125k IDR to $9.24, unless you get the 5-class pack like me and it'll be $7/class. • 8 Must-Have Apps for a Smooth Traveling Experience

Traveling brings me so much joy! It is one of the best feelings in the world. But, it can also get a little difficult. Fortunately for us, we are living in a age where we have access to applications that can make our lives easier. The resources are readily available! The next step is to be open to the remedies these applications have to offer. I am a strong supporter of making my life as simple as possible. If it is going to aid in organization, better understanding, accessibility, and more, why not? During my one-month southeast Asia trip, I've gathered up the most beneficial and frequent used apps that has remedied potential hassles. These apps have helped make my travel experience hassle free and smooth sailing. Here are 8 beneficial Apps to have when traveling: Stay & Flight 1. Air Bnb – Ain’t nothing wrong with staying in your own home or villa! The perks are obvious such as your privacy, not sharing bathrooms with randoms, and enjoying the comfort of more amenities. I find AirBnb a good choice when traveling with a companion. - Bali AirBnb Sidenotes: Anthony and I found breathtaking villas in Bali for the two of us from $15-$36/night. Some had infinite swimming pools with tropical lush green jungle views. The hospitality is A++++. Most have 24-hour staff that are so quick to help you if you have any questions and with a smile. Free quality breakfast every morning. They can arrange your transportation from booking taxi’s or renting mopeds. Some offer laundry service too! 2. HostelWorld – Staying in hostels are a great way to meet new people from all over the world. It’s a great app to have so that you can book your bed on the go. I find that solo travelers and budget travelers commonly choose hostels as a choice to stay. But of course, it is just preference. Some hostels offer private rooms, but majority of the time they offer dormitory style rooms that typically have bunk beds and your own private locker to put your things in. I like the kind of bunk beds that have your own curtain for privacy and night light to not disturbs others sleep. Reading reviews are very ideal. What me and Anthony look for in a hostel: - CLEANLINESS - Curtains on bunk beds - Chill vibe (no party hostel for us) - Rating of 8.6 + - Free breakfast - Free wi-fi Take note that there are party hostels that party all night. If you are into that, great. If you are not, that’s great too. You can typically find out what kind of hostel it is through readings reviews. That can help you determine if the hostel is a good choice for you. Average hostel costs Thailand - $8-$10 Vietnam - $5-$8 Bali - $8-$12 Philippines - 3. SkyScanner – This app finds the cheapest flights for you easily. They have a feature where they can alert you if there was a price drop or increase in the flights you save. If you are looking for the cheapest month to fly at a certain country, it finds it for you. Of course, airline prices are so volatile. The best time for us to book are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Food & Explore 4. TripAdvisor – This was another app I used frequently. Why? To look for amazing restaurants that were vegetarian friendly and within our budget. You can filter it to your desired preference, whether you are feeling like smoothie bowls or pizza. We also used this app to see what were the best places to visit. 5. GoogleMaps – If you opt out of the taxi/uber transportation and chose to rent a motor bike to do your explorations, GoogleMaps will be your best friend. When we were in Vietnam (and didn’t have a sim card for internet at the time), if we wanted to go to a certain destination, we would map ourselves from the hostel or a coffee shop that had wi-fi, and then roll out. Even though I wouldn’t have internet connection after we leave the wi-fi zone, GoogleMaps was already pre-mapped and ready to navigate the pathway. Communication & Currency 6. Currency - (The app image icon says XE) - I used this app so we could have a better understanding of how much money we were using per day. Although Asia is super affordable as it is, we wanted to make sure we weren’t overpaying for certain foods/products/services so that we can maximize our dollar’s worth for better purposes. 7. Google Translate – I would pre-translate certain sentences and words while I had wifi so that when I was out and about and needed to connect with someone, we can both communicate and understand each other. It helped me a lot in Vietnam. 8. WhatsApp – It’s a free messenger app to communicate with your loved ones from anywhere around the world. Also, many local business owners, Airbnb hosts, taxi drivers, and more use this app to communicate. We used this app to connect with our driver that picked us up from the Bali airport as well as communicate with our Philippines AirBnb host for airport pick-up and booking our boat tours. Another messenger app that I’ve used during this trip is Viber. Side Note: If you have ATT&T --- Please opt out of their international packages like their silver and gold passport features. It does not work. I’ve tried it in Thailand back in 2015. I have also recently tried to use it in Vietnam and Bali. It was a waste of $60 (silver passport). TIP: I recommend buying a sim card when you arrive to the country you are visiting. I bought a 15 gb sim card for $6-$8 when I arrived to Bali. It has lasted throughout my 3-weeks stay in Bali. It’s worth it and it works! To preserve your gb, connect to the wi-fi when you are in a establishment like a restaurant, coffee shop, or your AirBnb so that you don't run out of data fast. These are my top 8 apps of choice for traveling. They have helped me along my journey and I know that it will continue to help me with my future travels. I encourage you to travel your heart out and expand your mind. "A mind stretched by new experiences can never go back to its old dimensions." • How I Healed the Keloid on my Nose Piercing

(Photo - Pinterest) What's a keloid? A keloid is an overgrown scar tissue that is a pink or purple bump that grows above the skin. I know exactly why I started to grow a keloid on my freshly, new nose piercing. It was a mixture of me moving my nose piercing around with my fingers because I felt like I had a booger in my nose (LOL) along with a mixture of all the pollution from the cars (motor biking around Bali), make-up, and forgetting to clean around my nose piercing. This is my second time getting my nose pierced. The first time I got my nose pierced was back in October 2016. A keloid started to grow in December 2016 and it wasn't until January 2017 when I took it off. I rode that shit out in hopes that it would heal. It did not. The keloid got bigger than my actual nose piercing. Maybe triple the size! SMH at me lol. The second time I got my nose piercing was in the beginning of last month, September 2017. I realized I started growing a keloid when I was in Canggu, Bali. I was actually pretty sad because I really wanted to keep my nose piercing. I did some research on Google and decided to take action in this keloid removal experiment. Since I have had success with it, I thought I'd let you all know how to treat a keloid on your nose piercing or any other piercings. - - TEA TREE OIL - - YUP! That is the remedy! Tea tree oil has anti-septic and anti-inflammatory properties. Not only can it help remove your keloid, but it can be used for many other things such as treating boils, acne, deodorizer, all natural cleaning products, dandruff, removing head lice, ease psoriasis/eczema, treats cuts/wounds, and more. I applied the tea tree oil on my nose 3-4 times a day with either a q-tip or a napkin. You will start to notice it crusting up after a day or two. That is because the tea tree oil is squeezing out the puss. In about a week or so, my keloid was gone! I am super happy because of the success I had with healing the keloid on my nose piercing. I hope this helps with you, too! • 4 Interesting Coffee Shops in Seattle

Another state, another latte. In all the exploring we knew we were going to do, I made sure we fitted some time for coffee time. I am not a coffee expert. However, I am one helluva coffee enthusiast/admirer that makes the effort to have a cup of latte from all over the world. Something about the milkyness (soy or almond preferred, of course) with a shot or two of expressos fills me up with joy… & caffeine. This past week I have gone to 4 best coffee shops in Seattle, WA. With that being said, Here I will be sharing to you 4 coffee shops that I’ve went to when I was in Seattle, WA: Note: Please not that the ambiance rating is rated in how much I vibe with the atmosphere. Café Vitta Workspace Friendly: Yes. Ambiance Rating: 6 This was the first coffee shop we went to after we touched down to Seattle. From Seattle airport, we went straight to Paseo’s Cubano sandwich ( MIGHTY LIT & highly recommend Tofu Sandwich ) to get lunch and walked to the corner to this cute little coffee shop. I ordered a hazelnut latte for $4 and some change and 3 mini donuts that were 0.82 cents each. I can say that I was a pleased kitty cat. Remember to take care of yourself. You cannot pour from an empty cup. Seattle Coffee Works Workspace Friendly: Yes Ambiance Rating: 6 Day two of my Seattle Latte fix. I got a regular latte for $4.40. We went here after we went to Pike’s Market Place to get some clam chowder bowls. It had 4+ star reviews. It's very spacious in here and you can for sure do your work in here with the multitudes of tables. The energy of it felt busy. As if the people in their working were anxiously getting it done. The latte was aight. Maybe if I added a pump of Hazelnut or something. In my honest opinion, I'v gone to better vibed coffee shops. You May Like: 10 Morning Rituals for an Elevated & Transformational Life Moore Coffee Workspace Friendly: No Ambiance Rating: 8 This was a cute little Spanish vibe coffee shop tucked between the buildings of downtown Seattle. It is in Moore’s hotel. I recommend their Crema de Leche Latte that was $3.96 for 8 oz. They have a few snack and sandwich selections. There is about two tiny table seatings. The décor in there is super cutesie too! This spot is more for the ones that are on the go. If you're looking for a bomb lunch spot by there, I would suggest Biscuit Bitch. StoryVille Coffee Shop Workspace Friendly: Yes Ambiance Rating: 7 This coffee shops at the corner near Pike's Market Place. It has a lot of seating. They sell premium coffee. I got a vanilla latte with a salted chocolate chip cookie both for $8. It was very tasty. This was a good spot to chill and wake up the tired feels from walking and walking. I wouldn't really recommend the cookie as it is alright. I felt like it was weird to have salt just chillin' right in the center of the cookie. But the latte was L I T ! I do recommend that! If you’re a coffee lover like me and you ever find yourself taking a trip to Seattle, please do drop a visit to any of these coffee shops. All of these coffee shops are 4 star + on Yelp. I will be most likely creating blog posts of different coffee shops that I recommend to in different places. So if you dig it, drop a comment below! :) - - - - Follow me on Instagram @ducky143 Follow me and Tai's youtube channel VibrateHigher With love and light, Khristyne #seattlecoffee #coffeeshops #coffeeshopsinseattle #seattlefoods #seattlelatte #coffeebeansseattle

  • Recipe: Non-Dairy Cashew Cream Cheese

Cheese has been my childhood best friend. It is a struggle for me to give up on cheese til' this day. I remember always being fed quesadillas to getting Hot Cheetos with cheese from the ice cream truck to eating mac n' cheese with Hot Cheetos on top (before The Attic was created), and many more crazy, cheezy combos. Being on this path of really paying attention of what kinds of foods I put into my body has got me having mixed feelings with giving up on cheese. This then led me to get crafty and create a healthy, non-dairy alternative to cream cheese. You may like How to make Crispy Battered Cauliflower Tacos (Vegan) Ingredients - 2 cups of raw cashews - 2 cloves of garlic - 1 lemon - 1 tbsp sea salt or Himalayan salt - 1 tbsp paprika - 1 tbsp black pepper - 6-8 oz of coconut milk (depending how creamy you want it) Directions 1. Soak the cashew for 2-3 hours Faster method: Boil until cashews are soft 2. Strain the water 3. Squeeze lemon, add coconut milk and put in the garlic cloves with the soft cashews 4. Blend them all together with a food processor (I use a Nutribullet, it still works great) 5. Mix in all your seasonings and blend again.l 6. If you want it a bit creamier, you can add more of your coconut milk 8. Top it with green onions And get to dipping! Or you make yourself some coconut cashew Wontons or spread onto a warm, toasty bagel. Enjoy! • Angel Wings Graffiti Murals with Address Locations - Los Angeles, CA

You've probably seen it all over Instagram! These heavenly angel wings were created by Artist Colette Miller in 2012. She created these angel wings to remind us that WE R the Angels of Earth. She shares more in her Ted Talk here. These majestic wings drew my attention immediately. Especially because of my fascination with angels and the fact that we all have at least 1-2 angels of our own. I like to embrace the fact that my angels are always watching over me and guiding me wholeheartedly. They're always giving me signs whether its from butterflies, coins, feathers, dreams, rainbows, numerically, or giving me goosebumps on the most non-cold occasions. I'm so appreciative of their energetic existence in my life. This is why I searched for these angel wings murals in Los Angeles, CA. Colette knows wassup! 1. " The Three Flowers Wings" The parking situation is super easy. Though there are meters, you can totally just park in the neighborhoods. It's right across the street from Fairfax High School. I recommend going on a Sunday! There is a flea market called The Melrose Trading Post where you can find cutesie & curated selections of handmade to vintage to boutique ish pieces. It costs $3 to get in. They also have live local music from local artists located by the food area with a cozy, shaded area surrounded with lovely trees. It gets vibey out there. 9am-5pm. Where: Across from Fairfax High School 7850 Melrose Ave Los Angeles, CA 90046 2. DTLA - Regent Theatre I remember coming here some years ago. Now this was a little tough parking because it can get super busy on the weekdays! The way we successfully rolled out and caught some flicks at ease was because my boyfriend dropped me and my friends off. Shout out to my boyfriend for being a real one lol! If you go on the weekdays, you would need to wait after 5pm when the shops close up and secure their shops with their corrugated walls. Where: Regent Theatre 446 S. Main St. Los Angeles, CA Romwe Dress - Available here Jeffrey Campbell Platforms - Available here Gold Soul Sunglasses - Available here 3. You are a goddess living in a city of angels. This is tucked in downtown Los Angeles next to Pete's Coffee Shop. You're going to need to find a parking meter & photographer (or a random person off the street) to take your photo of these vibrant angelic wings. I was super drawn to the word goddess in the mural so I HAD TO go there. I was feeling super vibrant that day too and decided to wear my Romwe Dress I got here. I love how I felt the quality of the material on my body. Especially since it was super hot that day. This dress was necessary and relevant for the breeze to pull through from its looseness. Where: The Bloc 700 S. Flower St. Los Angeles, CA 90703 Enjoy your angel wings scavenger hunt! I've only gone to three of Colette's murals. She has a few more somewhere in Los Angeles as well as places like Kenya and Melbourne. You can probably find more from her Instagram: @colettemillerwings . Thanks so much. I'm going to leave you with this affirmation: Affirm: I trust my inner guidance. Shop Custom Rose Vans that my boyfriend and I make!
